Wat de Software Tester zal doen

Als Software Tester (Q&A / Release) ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken en verbeteren van de kwaliteit van onze ERP‑software Automate, die dagelijks wordt gebruikt door demontagebedrijven in Nederland.

Je werkt nauw samen met developers en andere stakeholders en bent betrokken bij het volledige release‑proces. Je test nieuwe functionaliteiten, bewaakt workflows en koppelingen en draagt actief bij aan structurele kwaliteitsverbeteringen.

Deze rol past bij iemand die kwaliteit belangrijk vindt, analytisch sterk is en goed om kan gaan met een dynamische omgeving.

De Software Tester zal:

– Functionele testen uitvoeren voor updates en releases – Koppelingen, workflows en end‑to‑end processen testen – Bugs en nieuwe functionaliteiten opvolgen en hertesten – Koppelingen met eigen applicaties controleren – Tussentijds testen op de development‑branch – Meedenken over kwaliteitsverbetering van processen en applicatie – Helpen bij het opzetten en verbeteren van teststrategieën (eventueel inclusief unit testing) – Heldere release notes schrijven voor eindgebruikers en de interne supportafdeling – Testactiviteiten afstemmen rondom release‑momenten

Wie we zoeken

Je bent een nauwkeurige en kwaliteitsgerichte professional die graag samenwerkt met het development team. Je werkt gestructureerd, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en voelt je comfortabel in een omgeving waar niet altijd alles vastligt.

Daarnaast zal de Software Tester:

– Een technische achtergrond hebben om mee te kunnen testen tijdens de ontwikkeling – Ervaring hebben met versiebeheer en release‑coördinatie (Git / Azure DevOps) – Parttime of fulltime beschikbaar zijn (24–40 uur) – Medior niveau (3–5 jaar ervaring) of hoger hebben – Proactief zijn en focus hebben op kwaliteit – Positief staan tegenover AI of ervaring hebben met het gebruik van AI‑tools

Onze tools & technische omgeving

De ERP‑software Automate is een on‑premise client/server‑applicatie gebouwd met:

– .NET Framework – C# – WPF – MSSQL – Entity Framework (EF) – MVVM – SignalR

Op korte termijn staat een upgrade naar .NET 10 gepland. Op de langere termijn wordt gewerkt aan een transitie richting een online SaaS‑oplossing.
