Schedule & Compensation

  • Pay: $11.00 per hour
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Primarily evening shifts; hours may vary based on facility needs
  • Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Lakeshore Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, part of the Volare Health family of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
  • Prepare serving areas and ensure plates, warming equipment, and steam tables are properly heated.
  • Verify that each resident's tray contains the correct food items, appropriate portions, and necessary utensils before delivery.
  • Monitor and document food temperatures according to facility standards.
  • Ensure meal trays are neatly arranged, garnished appropriately, and supplied with clean silverware, cups, dishes, and dry plate covers.
  • Monitor meal preparation quantities, document shortages or excess food, and communicate findings to the supervisor.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with dietary team members and other facility staff to support residents' nutritional needs.

Qualifications

  • Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe certification, as required by state regulations.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to interact respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
  • Dependability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
  • Successful completion of required background screening, drug screening, and reference checks.
