The posting

Kom binnen bij VolkerRail en wordt opgeleid tot termietlasser bij dé spooraannemer in Nederland. Iedere dag weer een nieuw avontuur; je komt op bijzondere locaties. Binnen, maar vooral ook buiten!

Over de functie

Het spoor in Nederland bestaat uit mijlenlange spoorstaven. Doordat er schades aan spoorstaven en wisseldelen ontstaan, hebben wij een Lasafdeling die reparaties en aanleg van de spoorbaan vakkundig uitvoert.

Termietlassen binnen het spoor is een techniek om spoorstaven ter plaatse permanent aan elkaar te lassen met vloeibaar staal dat ontstaat door een chemische reactie (thermiet). Het wordt gebruikt om naadloze sporen te maken, wat zorgt voor minder onderhoud, minder geluid en een comfortabelere treinrit!

Termietlassen is vakwerk, dat is wel duidelijk. Om het spoor goed te onderhouden, is reparatiewerk een must. Samen met het team zorg jij ervoor dat het spoorwegnetwerk van Nederland er strak bij ligt. Doordat je in een relatief kleine groep werkt wordt je ingezet in heel Nederland hierdoor kom je overal en nergens.

Buiten de begeleiding van je buddy, volg je een opleidingstraject waarbij je certificaten/diploma's behaalt en vakkundig leert lassen volgens verschillende technieken zoals: thermiet-, bekist-, op- en stomplassen.

Kortom een leuke uitdagende functie met veel doorgroeimogelijkheden!

Wat vragen wij?

  • je hebt interesse in techniek;
  • je bent in het bezit van een B-rijbewijs;
  • je bent flexibel: nacht- en weekend shifts zijn voor jou geen probleem (uiteraard tegen een mooie vergoeding!);
  • je werkt graag in teamverband;

  • je kunt tegen gezonde spanning en tijdsdruk.
