Heb jij ervaring met grote machines op het spoor? Bij VolkerRail zijn we op zoek naar enthousiaste collega’s die samen met ons willen bouwen aan veilig en betrouwbaar spoor in Nederland. Als Machinist ben jij onmisbaar in ons team!

Wat ga je doen als Machinist Spoorwegmachines?

Je werkt met bijvoorbeeld indrukwekkende stopmachines zoals de Unimat en Beaver en zorgt er samen met je team voor dat het spoor in topconditie blijft. Geen dag is hetzelfde, want je werkt op verschillende plekken in Nederland, zowel overdag als ’s nachts of in het weekend.

Naast het bedienen van onze grote spoorwegmachines, hoort dit ook bij je takenpakket:

  • Dagelijks onderhoud en kleine reparaties uitvoeren;
  • Afwijkingen signaleren en oplossen of melden;
  • Zorgen dat alles veilig, netjes en volgens de regels verloopt. Zoals het controleren van de aanwezigheid van alle voorschriften en documenten voor de rijdende dienst;
  • Het onder begeleiding- of zelfstandig werken op in dienst zijnde, of buiten dienst zijnde sporen;
  • Je registreert het uitgevoerde werk conform werkafspraken in onder andere logboeken en weekstaten.

Je werkt in een hecht team van 11 machinisten en 2 ploegleiders die altijd voor elkaar klaarstaan!

Wat krijg je van ons?

  • Een jaarcontract met de intentie te verlengen naar onbepaalde tijd;
  • Een salaris van € 3.057,- tot € 4.798,- per maand, afhankelijk van leeftijd en ervaring;

Wat breng jij mee?

We zoeken een collega die:

  • Ervaring heeft met het besturen van een stopmachine op het spoor’;
  • Minimaal een MBO 3-diploma heeft;
  • In het bezit is van een rijbewijs;
  • Flexibel inzetbaar is (je vindt nacht- en weekendwerk geen probleem);
  • Binnen een straal van 100 km rond Amersfoort woont en bereid is te reizen.

Een psychologische én medische keuring maken deel uit van de procedure.
