Senior Distribution Manager – Wholesale Funds Management
A senior Melbourne-based distribution role focused on raising wholesale funds for a founder-led equities manager.
- A growing boutique where you'll help drive ambitious FUM growth
- Market-leading, uncapped commission
- Ownership of key investor relationships
Collins St Asset Management is an independent boutique investment manager based in Melbourne. It runs high-conviction, actively managed Australian and global equities strategies exclusively for wholesale investors. The firm is owned and led by its founders, who remain closely involved in both investing and growing the business. Now entering a new phase of growth, the firm is seeking a Senior Distribution Manager to join its Melbourne CBD office.
The opportunity
This is a senior, results-driven role with a clear focus on growing funds under management. You will secure and strengthen the firm's wholesale investor network across high-net-worth individuals, family offices, financial advisers, private wealth groups and institutional investors. The role will also involve nurturing these relationships and introducing future Collins St products.
You will be the firm's senior distribution presence in Victoria, working as a peer to the existing Distribution Manager, who is based interstate. A Melbourne-based Investor Relations Officer provides sales support, allowing you to spend more time in front of investors.
Collins St Asset Management is at a pivotal stage of growth in both funds under management and investor outreach, with a new website launching soon. The successful candidate will help shape the team's approach and the fund's story as the firm expands its presence among wholesale investors.
About you
You will bring an established national network of high-net-worth investors, family offices, financial advisers and broader wholesale market contacts, and be ready to draw on those relationships from day one. You'll have a proven track record of raising capital and building long-term investor relationships. You'll also have a strong understanding of equities and the funds management industry, allowing you to speak credibly about investment process and performance with sophisticated investors.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills are essential. Just as importantly, you'll be proactive and entrepreneurial, with the ability to build and maintain investor relationships.
Culture
The firm is entrepreneurial, open-minded and flexible, with accessible, hands-on founders who expect a full-time presence in the Melbourne office. The firm is at an exciting stage of its development, offering an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to play a meaningful part in shaping its future rather than stepping into a mature, fully resourced structure.
Remuneration
A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer, comprising a competitive base salary and market-leading, uncapped performance-based commission linked to funds raised.
