What you'll do...
Role summary:
This role serves as a bridge between business operations and technology, partnering directly with merchant teams to understand how work gets done, solve immediate challenges, and design better ways of working. You’ll identify friction between business processes and the tools used to execute them, translating user pain points, tribal knowledge, and process gaps into structured solutions. Using process engineering, automation and Agentic AI tools, you’ll rapidly prototype and test solutions alongside users. Successful concepts will then be translated into scalable requirements and partnered with Product and Technology teams for integration into enterprise platforms and long-term capabilities. About the team:
Our team focuses on reducing friction at the intersection of merchant processes and technology, with an emphasis on Assortment and Modular workflows. We work directly with merchants to understand their business, map end-to-end processes, and identify where existing tools create unnecessary complexity, manual work, or gaps. Rather than stopping at problem identification, we rapidly design and test practical solutions with the people doing the work. Our team serves as a translation layer between business users, Product, and Technology-solving immediate needs while helping shape scalable enterprise capabilities that make merchant workflows simpler, faster, more connected, and increasingly enabled by automation. What you'll do:
Partner directly with merchant teams to discover business needs, map workflows, and identify high-impact friction across Assortment and Modular processes. Translate business logic and user pain points into clear requirements, workflows, and solution designs. Use Agentic AI platforms, workflow automation, APIs, and analytic capabilities to rapidly build proof-of-concept solutions with users. Lead testing and UAT, incorporating human-in-the-loop feedback to refine solutions. Manage stakeholder relationships and drive execution from discovery through adoption. Partner with Product and Technology teams to transition validated concepts into scalable enterprise tools, ensuring successful solutions influence long-term product capabilities. What you'll bring:
You bring strong business acumen, curiosity, and a systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to understand complex workflows and turn ambiguity into practical solutions. You’re comfortable working directly with business users while also communicating effectively with Product and Technology partners. Experience with business process engineering, workflow automation, rapid prototyping, business logic, APIs, and user acceptance testing is valuable. You understand how emerging capabilities such as agentic AI and human-in-the-loop systems can improve business workflows. Most importantly, you’re a hands-on problem solver who can move quickly from listening and discovery to experimentation, implementation, and scalable solutions across multiple business domains.
