The posting

Reporting to the Client Services Manager, North America, the Field Services Analyst installs, commissions and supports Wenco hardware and software systems at client mine sites and remotely. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on hardware installation with technical software support, and it builds toward broad competency across Wenco's field and product stack. The work is field-led: installing and verifying deployments, diagnosing faults across hardware, network and software, and capturing what is learned so it becomes procedure rather than individual knowledge. The Field Services Analyst is often the Wenco representative a client works with directly on site, and is expected to deliver reliable, professional field execution every time. Key Deliverables and Responsibilities On site

Install, configure and commission Wenco hardware: rugged computers, tablets, radios, GPS antennas, switches and cabling, across heavy and light mining equipment Install and configure networks and DC power connections, working with mine personnel as required Verify installations against the Wenco installation guide, record as-builts, and complete QA checks at handover Perform electrical fault-finding and repairs on installed hardware, on site and remotely Conduct site inspections and prepare deployment reports Deliver one-on-one and classroom training to client personnel on system use, administration, and the Wenco support and RMA process

Office and remote

Provide timely phone, email and remote support, and perform first-line triage Record and document all client issues through to resolution in Wenco's issue-tracking system Troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues, escalating complex cases with complete documentation Feed field findings back to product and engineering teams, so issues that do not surface through tickets are still captured Contribute to installation procedures, troubleshooting guides and training material Work within Wenco's quality-managed support and escalation process

Experience and Knowledge

3–7 years across hardware installation or field services and technical software support, in mining, industrial technology or a related environment Diploma or degree in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related IT or mining discipline; or equivalent practical experience, preferably in mining. Installing and troubleshooting rugged computers, radios, GPS antennas and cabling on heavy or light equipment Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, radio and LTE connectivity, GNSS including RTK, and electrical fault-finding Windows and Windows Server environments, virtual machines, and basic database operations (SQL) Mining or heavy industry experience an asset; exposure to fleet management systems highly valued Valid driver's licence and valid passport; able to travel to remote and northern sites French language capability is preferred, though not required, for work at French-speaking client sites in Canada

Skills and Abilities

Solid technical, analytical and problem-solving skills across hardware and software Accurate documentation and strong organisation; disciplined about recording what was done and what was found Clear written and verbal communication, and a professional client presence in remote and high-pressure environments Comfortable working in remote locations and extreme conditions, including underground environments, and able to manage competing demands Works independently on site, knows when to escalate, and sees assignments through to completion

Travel: Extensive (up to 80%). Active mine sites across North America, including remote and northern operations; international travel as required. Base salary of $95,000- $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
