Het Rijnstate Allergiecentrum is het regionale multidisciplinaire expertisecentrum voor allergologie. In het centrum wordt de allergologie in volle breedte uitgevoerd en participeren vijf verschillende specialismen uit Ziekenhuis Rijnstate.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste Physician Assistant die een centrale rol wil vervullen binnen de allergiezorg. Binnen ons allergiecentrum bieden wij specialistische zorg aan zowel kinderen als volwassenen met allergische aandoeningen.

Als Physician Assistant ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van diagnostiek, het opstellen van behandelplannen en de begeleiding van de behandeling. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit het indiceren en begeleiden van immunotherapie bij allergische rinitis en het uitvoeren van voedselprovocaties bij patiënten met voedselallergieën.

Daarnaast lever je een actieve bijdrage aan de ontwikkeling, implementatie en borging van evidence-based richtlijnen, protocollen en werkwijzen. Zo draag je niet alleen bij aan hoogwaardige patiëntenzorg, maar ook aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de allergiezorg binnen ons centrum.

Werken binnen het Allergiecentrum

Het Allergiecentrum is gespecialiseerd in de diagnostiek en behandeling van uiteenlopende allergische aandoeningen en overgevoeligheidsreacties, waaronder hooikoorts, astma, geneesmiddelenallergieën, voedselallergieën, wespengifallergieën en beroepsallergieën. Binnen het centrum bundelen verschillende specialismen hun expertise om de zorg voor patiënten continu verder te ontwikkelen en te verbeteren.

Als Physician Assistant ben je werkzaam binnen zowel de volwassenen- als de kinderallergologie. Je werkt nauw samen met internist-allergologen, kinderarts-allergologen, kinderartsen, allergiediëtisten, arts-assistenten, gespecialiseerd verpleegkundigen en spreekuurassistenten. Daarnaast vindt regelmatig multidisciplinair overleg plaats met andere vakgroepen binnen het Rijnstate Allergiecentrum, waaronder dermatologie, KNO en longgeneeskunde, evenals met de klinisch chemici.

Ook participeert het Allergiecentrum actief in wetenschappelijk onderzoek en onderwijs. Hierbij wordt samengewerkt met de Wageningen University & Research en het Radboudumc aan de ontwikkeling van innovatieve diagnostische mogelijkheden en behandelingen binnen de allergiezorg.

Jouw vaardigheden

  • Je hebt een afgeronde opleiding tot Physician Assistant (MSc).
  • Je levert graag kwalitatief hoogwaardige patiëntenzorg.
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatieve, sociale en organisatorische vaardigheden.
  • Je werkt graag samen binnen een multidisciplinair team.
  • Je bent proactief, betrokken en leergierig.

Rijnstate biedt jou

  • Arbeidsvoorwaarden en salaris op basis van de cao-ziekenhuizen.
  • Inschaling FWG 60 (max. 6.220.- bruto p.m, o.b.v. fulltime dienstverband á 36 uur p.w.).
  • Een dienstverband van 32 uur per week voor in de eerste instantie 12 maanden met uitzicht op verlenging voor onbepaalde tijd
