Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN) is een publiek bedrijf in de energiesector. We zetten ons in voor een betrouwbare, betaalbare en duurzame energievoorziening nu en in de toekomst. Als beleidsdeelneming van de Nederlandse overheid en in nauwe samenwerking met industriepartners en bedrijfsleven levert EBN een bijdrage aan de voorzieningszekerheid van energie in Nederland van vandaag en het versnellen van de ontwikkeling van duurzame energie en het duurzame energiesysteem van de toekomst. Onze focusgebieden zijn versnelling van de warmtetransitie, een duurzaam gassysteem en een verantwoorde CO2-opslag. We werken samen met publieke en private partners en gebruiken onze kennis, kunde en financiële slagkracht om de bouw van het duurzame energiesysteem te versnellen. Dit alles is nodig om op basis van duurzame energiebronnen de klimaatdoelen te kunnen halen.

Voor onze afdeling Business Control zoeken we een Financial Planning Analyst die zich bezig gaat houden met het herinrichten van bestaande processen rondom financiële planning, zodat het team nog effectiever kan inspelen op de veranderende rol van onze organisatie in de energietransitie en de verdere verbreding van bedrijfsactiviteiten. In deze rol ga je verder bouwen aan het planningsproces dat essentieel is voor het strategisch en financieel beleid op de lange termijn.

De functie

Als Financial Planning Analyst ben je onderdeel van ons Business Control team, bestaande uit 10 collega’s en werk je samen met je senior collega aan het gehele FP&A-proces. Je bestrijkt het gehele spectrum aan business activiteiten en ontwikkelt inzichten die richting geven aan de financiële sturing van EBN. Hiermee ondersteun je het strategische keuzeproces en werk je ook samen met de nieuw opgezette afdeling Strategie. Je bevraagt de plannen en ook de verantwoording die de business hierover aanlevert in periodieke rapportages. Daarmee ben je een belangrijke sparring partner voor de collega Business Controllers die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de verschillende business units. Je ondersteunt hen met een goed gestructureerd FP&A-proces en levert een rechtstreekse bijdrage aan de energietransitie in Nederland.

Concreet betekent dit dat jij je o.a. gaat bezighouden met het:

  • beheer en optimalisatie van de P&C-cyclus en -kalender, incl. procesbewaking van deadlines;
  • begeleiden van project- en lijnmanagers bij de operationele implementatie van nieuwe EPM-tooling (Tagetik);
  • MI-/rapportagebeheer in Qlik, data modelling en master databeheer;
  • optimaliseren van de investeringsportefeuille en het zgn. Post Investment Review-proces;
  • ad hoc ondersteuning bij financiële forecasting in de business units;

Daarnaast ondersteun je de senior bij:

  • scenario- en portfolioplanning /informatieontwikkeling voor strategische besluitvorming;
  • de doorontwikkeling van lange termijn forecasting methodologie, incl. excel-modellering;
  • het ontwikkelen van KPI-rapportages en performance tracking voor projecten en businesscases.

Jij en je senior collega hebben eigen verantwoordelijkheden en kunnen elkaars back-up zijn.

Jij werkt graag in een continue veranderende omgeving. Je pakt zelf zaken op, maar weet ook in te schatten wanneer je anderen moet betrekken. Wat vragen wij verder van jou?

  • Afgeronde opleiding in een bedrijfseconomische richting (Bsc of Msc)
  • 3-5 jaar werkervaring, bij voorkeur in de richting van Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Sterke analytische en kwantitatieve vaardigheden
  • Vaardigheid in financiële modellen en vermogen om met complexe gegevens te werken
  • Ervaring met Qlik en Tagetik of soortgelijke (BI- en financiële planning)systemen
  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, in woord en geschrift
