Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN) is een publiek bedrijf in de energiesector. We zetten ons in voor een betrouwbare, betaalbare en duurzame energievoorziening nu en in de toekomst. Als beleidsdeelneming van de Nederlandse overheid en in nauwe samenwerking met industriepartners en bedrijfsleven levert EBN een bijdrage aan de voorzieningszekerheid van energie in Nederland van vandaag en het versnellen van de ontwikkeling van duurzame energie en het duurzame energiesysteem van de toekomst. Onze focusgebieden zijn versnelling van de warmtetransitie, een duurzaam gassysteem en een verantwoorde CO2-opslag. We werken samen met publieke en private partners en gebruiken onze kennis, kunde en financiële slagkracht om de bouw van het duurzame energiesysteem te versnellen. Dit alles is nodig om op basis van duurzame energiebronnen de klimaatdoelen te kunnen halen.

De versnelling van de energietransitie in Nederland is geen makkelijke opgave. Goede samenwerking en bundeling van kennis en expertise is cruciaal en deelnemingen zoals EBN kunnen hierin een belangrijke rol vervullen. Om alle onderdelen van EBN goed te kunnen ondersteunen zoeken wij een nieuwe Business Controller, die in het hart van deze transitie zich gaat richten op het financieel- en risicobeheer van de activiteiten van EBN en verantwoordelijkheid draagt voor het ondersteunen en borgen van een heldere werkwijze, financial forecast, quality assurance & quality control en Enterprise Risk Management.

De functie

Als Business Controller ben je onderdeel van ons Business Control team, bestaande uit 10 collega’s. In deze rol werk je op het snijvlak van financiële sturing, business partnering, data- en procesverbetering. Je richt je samen met twee senior business controllers op ons onderdeel Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) en Geothermie en bent zelf verantwoordelijk voor een aantal corporate afdelingen. Je zorgt voor betrouwbare stuurinformatie, financiële beheersing en scherpe analyses die rechtstreeks bijdragen aan de energietransitie. Daarnaast speel je een belangrijke rol in het verder professionaliseren van onze planning-, control- en rapportageprocessen.

Je houdt je onder andere bezig met het:

Business control

  • opstellen en beoordelen van financiële scenario’s en businesscases voor CCS en Geothermie;
  • beheersen van de kosten van corporate afdelingen en bredere organisatiekosten;
  • opstellen van (performance) managementrapportages en KPI-inzichten voor verdere besluitvorming;

Projectcontrol

  • bewaken van projectbudgetten en adviseren over beheersmaatregelen;
  • verantwoordelijk zijn voor de subsidieadministratie van ons SCAN-programma en CCS-subsidieprojecten;
  • ondersteunen van stuurgroepen en projectboards met projectrapportages en dashboards;
  • bijdragen aan projectaudits;
  • actief samenwerken met projectteams, technische specialisten en externe partners.

Je combineert financiële expertise met een datagedreven en innovatieve aanpak en weet complexe informatie te vertalen naar heldere inzichten voor de business. Een mooie plek om in hart van de transitie bij te dragen met jouw expertise. Wat breng je verder mee?

  • WO werk- en denkniveau, met een afgeronde opleiding in een bedrijfseconomische richting
  • 1-5 jaar werkervaring met relevante accounting-kennis
  • Ervaring met grote infrastructurele, energie- of warmteprojecten is een pré
  • Je bent tech savvy en verdiept je graag in nieuwe technologie
  • Ervaring met Exact (Globe/Synergy) en BI Tooling is een pre
  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, in woord en geschrift
