Wat ga je doen?

Als Poortchecker ben jij de eerste schakel in het logistieke proces op onze terminal. Jij voert visuele inspecties uit op containers bij de toegangspoorten en verwerkt de gegevens met een handheld computer. Daarnaast zorg je ervoor dat chauffeurs en bezoekers zich aan de veiligheidsregels houden. Na jouw periode bij de poorten stroom je door naar de reparatieafdeling, waar je containers zorgvuldig inspecteert op schade en beoordeelt of ze klaar zijn voor belading. Je hebt hierbij veel contact met chauffeurs, de balie en de reparatieafdeling.

  • Visueel inspecteren van binnenkomende en uitgaande containers;
  • Gegevens verwerken via een handheld computer;
  • Toezien op naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften;
  • Communiceren met chauffeurs, de balie en de reparatieafdeling;
  • Inspecteren van containers op schade en toekomstige ladinggeschiktheid;
  • Helpen bij een soepel functionerende terminal.
