WHOOP is hiring a Senior Manager, Business Operations to lead high-priority, high-visibility initiatives across the Operations organization. This role will take on complex, ambiguous business problems that require strong strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and significant cross-functional alignment across Operations, Product, Hardware, Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Corporate Strategy.

You will partner closely with senior leaders to shape the path forward, translate strategy into actionable plans, and drive multiple critical workstreams through to measurable outcomes. This is a role for a highly adaptable operator who creates clarity, builds momentum, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities and projects are constantly evolving.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead multiple high-priority, high-visibility strategic initiatives across Operations from scoping through execution and measurable outcomes.

- Translate ambiguous business objectives into clear strategies, workplans, milestones, decision points, and success measures.

- Drive complex cross-functional programs spanning Operations, Product, Hardware, Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Corporate Strategy.

- Create alignment across senior stakeholders, surface tradeoffs, resolve dependencies, and drive timely decisions to maintain momentum.

- Serve as a strategic thought partner to Operations leadership, developing recommendations and helping shape the path forward on critical initiatives.

- Anticipate risks, bottlenecks, and downstream implications; proactively develop mitigation plans and escalate when needed.

- Develop clear, compelling executive communications that synthesize complex information into decisions, recommendations, and progress updates.

- Partner with Analytics and other subject-matter experts to leverage data, generate insights, and build fact-based narratives that move initiatives forward.

- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and ways of working beyond the immediate project, creating scalable impact across Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Program Management, or a related field.

- Demonstrated success leading multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced and highly ambiguous environments.

- Exceptional project and program management skills, with the ability to create structure, maintain momentum, and drive accountability across senior stakeholders.

- Strong strategic thinking and systems-level problem solving, with the ability to connect individual initiatives to broader business priorities and downstream impacts.

- Proven ability to influence, challenge, and align senior leaders without relying on formal authority.

- Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to distill complex topics into clear recommendations, tradeoffs, and decisions.

- Strong analytical and business judgment, with the ability to partner with Analytics and Finance and translate data into actionable insights.

- Highly adaptable and comfortable changing approach as priorities, information, and business needs evolve.

- High degree of ownership, urgency, and resilience; willing to push through ambiguity, obstacles, and competing priorities to deliver results.

- Strong team-first mentality and low-ego collaboration style, with the credibility to build trust across a wide range of functions and leadership levels.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
