Job Description

WHO WE ARE

We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we’re just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.

Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun, and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.

WHAT WE’LL NEED

The Public Relations & Community Impact Analyst will play a key role in shaping how Wingstop communicates with its Brand Partners (franchisees) and external audiences. This role owns brand partner communications and LinkedIn storytelling, while supporting broader PR efforts and Wingstop Charities operations.

Reporting to the Director of PR & Partnerships, this role will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, confident and compelling communications.

In addition to being a go-to voice behind the scenes – crafting communications for our brand partner community across the globe – you’ll also provide administrative and communications support for Wingstop Charities, which represents Wingstop’s commitment to strengthening the neighborhoods that we serve by being strong, active, corporate citizens, and good neighbors. Charities’ impact includes Community Grants, Team Member Assistance, and a dedicated Scholarship Program. Ensuring effective execution and visibility of programs and impact is critical to the success of Wingstop Charities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy, structure, and execution of communications to Wingstop’s global franchisee community
  • Define and manage the overall communication cadence, channels, and approach
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across internal teams to gather inputs and deliver clear, timely messaging
  • Ensure communications are prioritized, actionable, and easy to digest
  • Identify opportunities to elevate brand partner stories and successes

LinkedIn (Primary Ownership)

  • Lead Wingstop’s corporate voice on LinkedIn
  • Own content strategy and execution for Wingstop’s LinkedIn channel
  • Develop content that highlights: Brand growth and milestones Brand partner success stories Culture, people, and impact
  • Partner with PR to align LinkedIn storytelling with earned media and company priorities
  • Maintain a consistent, confident brand voice

PR & Corporate Reputation (Shared / Support)

  • Support broader PR efforts, with selective ownership in key areas
  • Lead local market PR storytelling (new restaurant openings, milestones, brand partner highlights)
  • Triage media inquiries and draft responses in partnership with PR lead
  • Support crisis communications as needed (execution + coordination)

Wingstop Charities (Execution + Operational Support)

  • Support communications and operations that drive visibility and impact of Wingstop Charities
  • Manage Charities social content (planning, drafting, publishing)
  • Support development of the quarterly newsletter for brand partners
  • Provide administrative support for 501(c)(3) compliance, including: Recordkeeping Reporting coordination Help ensure programs (grants, scholarships, team member assistance) are clearly communicated and visible

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • A bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience (agency or in-house preferred), with a focus on internal and corporate communications
  • Experience with CSR initiatives, community engagement, or experience within a philanthropic organization
  • Sharp writing chops, especially in AP Style, and a clear understanding of voice and tone
  • Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and navigating ambiguity
  • A passion for food, culture, and storytelling, and a desire to bring your full flavor to the role

WHO YOU ARE

No job is too small. You recognize that the real work happens in the restaurants, and everything we do should support their success. You stay humble, roll up your sleeves, and always look for ways to help. You learn from others and contribute wherever you can.

You care deeply about doing great work and driving results. You’re curious, ask questions, and seek out opportunities to improve. You don’t just point out problems—you bring solutions, ideas, and perspectives that move the team forward.

You take full responsibility for your work and see things through to completion. You aren’t afraid to fail because you know that failure is a part of learning and growth. You take action, move fast, and keep pushing forward.

You lead with empathy, respect, and emotional intelligence. You collaborate effectively, fostering a culture of trust and constructive feedback. You understand the importance of teamwork and ensure that your actions build others up rather than break them down.

You push yourself and others to be better. You embrace healthy conflict, knowing that great ideas and strong teams emerge from honest, constructive conversations. You believe that leaders create leaders and are committed to fostering a culture of growth, challenge, and continuous improvement.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
