Social Media & Strategy Intern

Job Summary

The Social Media Strategist will support the organization’s digital presence by creating, curating, and managing content across various social media platforms. This role combines creative skills in graphic design and copywriting with an analytical mindset to help grow brand awareness and engagement. The intern will work closely with marketing and strategy teams to execute campaigns, enhance content quality, and contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Create, design, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms using Canva and other design tools.
  • Write clear, compelling copy for social media posts, marketing materials, and SEO-driven content.
  • Edit and produce short-form videos for use across platforms.
  • Manage and monitor social media accounts using tools such as Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite.
  • Analyze performance metrics to measure the success of campaigns and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to keep the brand presence fresh and effective.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools, especially Canva.
  • Strong copywriting skills for social media, marketing campaigns, and SEO.
  • Ability to edit videos for various platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Educational Qualification: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior internship or project experience in social media management.
  • Understanding of digital marketing analytics.
  • Experience with additional graphic design or video editing software.
  • Knowledge of current social media and digital marketing trends.

Experience

  • Minimum Experience Required: 0 years (Freshers and students are encouraged to apply).
  • Relevant experience in graphic design, copywriting, social media management, or digital marketing is a plus.

  • Location: Bengaluru & Remote
  • Work setting may include a collaborative office environment with access to design and marketing tools.
