The posting

El objetivo principal del Database Administrator es garantizar la disponibilidad, seguridad y rendimiento óptimo de las bases de datos de la empresa, migrar bases de datos SQL a versiones recientes, identificar problemas de performance y causa raíz, implementando estándares y mejores prácticas del sector, así como respondiendo de manera efectiva a incidentes y desafíos técnicos.

Funciones del puesto:

  • Instalar y configurar instancias de SQL Server.
  • Crear y mantener ambientes de desarrollo, QA y preproducción.
  • Gestionar backups utilizando herramientas como Veeam.
  • Administrar accesos y permisos de usuarios en bases de datos.
  • Monitorear y optimizar el rendimiento de las bases de datos.
  • Documentar procedimientos y cambios realizados en las bases de datos.
  • Implementar medidas de seguridad y cumplimiento de normativas.
  • Coordinación con equipos de infraestructura y desarrollo para asegurar la integración de sistemas.
  • Migración de bases de datos a versiones recientes.
  • Configuración de features de sql server.
  • Generar metodología estándar de impelementación (Playbooks)

Requisitos del puesto:

1. Área de Estudio Profesional: Ingeniería en Sistemas, Computación o afín 3 años

2. Conocimientos: SQL Server, Windows Server 5 años

3. Experiencias críticas: DBA SQL Server 3 años

4. Certificaciones /entrenamientos: Entrenamiento en SQL Server

5. Herramientas / Software / Equipo: Estadísticas de performance (Qyery plan, profiler, statistics), Shell scripting (Power shell), TSQL

6. Idiomas: Inglés Avanzado B2

Deseable:

  • Maestria en Sistemas
  • SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, AlloyDB 2 años
  • Lenguajes de scripting (Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.) 2 años
  • Experiencia en industria 3+ años
  • MCSA SQL Server, Professional Cloud Database Engineer, Azure Database Administrator Associate
  • VMWare
  • Veeam
