ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will support airport operations by coordinating communications, providing accurate information to the travelling public, and managing call centre activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate the switchboard, direct calls and relay messages.
- Assist airport users, tenants and stakeholders.
- Update flight, baggage and gate information displays.
- Create maintenance service tickets and refer for follow-up.
- Communicate operational matters and report telephone threats.
- Report communication faults and prepare vehicle GPS reports.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Associate Degree from a recognised institution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, listening and customer service skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and teamwork.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy.
- Knowledge of aviation terminology, airport services and passenger guidelines.
- Clean character certificate and required security clearances.
No prior work experience is required; however, relevant experience would be an asset.
