We are looking for a skilled Analog Circuit Design Engineer with hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Phase-Locked Loops (PLL), SerDes, FinFET technologies, and physical verification processes, including Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) and Design Rule Checks (DRC).

This role involves designing, analysing, verifying, and optimising high-performance circuits for advanced semiconductor applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop robust, power-efficient, and high-speed circuit solutions while ensuring design accuracy, reliability, and compliance with technology-specific requirements.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, analyse, and optimise analog and mixed-signal circuits for advanced semiconductor applications.
  • Develop and verify PLL circuits, focusing on frequency generation, clocking performance, stability, and jitter characteristics.
  • Contribute to SerDes circuit design for high-speed data transmission and signal integrity.
  • Perform transistor-level circuit simulations and analyse performance across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) variations.
  • Work with FinFET technology and understand its impact on circuit behaviour, power consumption, and performance.
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure accurate implementation of circuit designs.
  • Perform and debug LVS and DRC checks, resolving schematic-to-layout mismatches and design rule violations.
  • Support post-layout simulation, parasitic analysis, and circuit performance optimisation.
  • Investigate circuit functionality, timing, noise, power, and reliability issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Maintain design documentation, simulation results, verification reports, and technical specifications.
  • Follow established semiconductor design methodologies, verification standards, and quality practices.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 3+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal integrated circuit design.
  • Strong understanding of analog circuit fundamentals, transistor-level design, and semiconductor device characteristics.
  • Hands-on experience with PLL design and/or SerDes circuit development.
  • Knowledge of FinFET process technologies and advanced-node semiconductor design considerations.
  • Practical experience with LVS, DRC, and physical verification workflows.
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, or HSPICE.
  • Understanding of PVT analysis, post-layout simulation, parasitic effects, and circuit optimisation.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with circuit design, layout, and verification teams.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, VLSI, or a related discipline is preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
