We are looking for an experienced Ataccama Platform Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimise enterprise data management platforms and supporting infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in Ataccama Administration, Linux, Database Management, AWS, Terraform, and performance tuning.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, security, and performance of the Ataccama platform while supporting infrastructure, database, deployment, monitoring, and operational requirements. You will work closely with Data, Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, and business teams to maintain a stable and scalable data management environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Ataccama platform across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Configure Ataccama platform components, environments, users, roles, permissions, and system settings.
  • Monitor platform availability, resource utilisation, application health, and system performance.
  • Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of Ataccama components.
  • Troubleshoot platform, application, integration, infrastructure, and database-related issues.
  • Manage and maintain Linux servers, system configurations, services, processes, logs, and operational tasks.
  • Support database management, including connectivity, configuration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and performance-related activities.
  • Work with AWS infrastructure supporting Ataccama workloads and enterprise data platforms.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Develop repeatable deployment and environment-management processes.
  • Perform performance tuning across application, database, infrastructure, and platform components.
  • Analyse system logs, metrics, resource utilisation, and performance indicators to identify root causes and bottlenecks.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and proactive health-check mechanisms for critical platform components.
  • Support platform integrations with databases, data sources, applications, and enterprise systems.
  • Manage platform availability, capacity planning, scalability, and operational resilience.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, high-availability, and business-continuity requirements.
  • Coordinate platform releases, deployments, upgrades, and production changes with relevant technical teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation covering architecture, configurations, operational procedures, troubleshooting, and recovery processes.
  • Follow security, access-control, change-management, and enterprise infrastructure standards.
  • Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Database, Data Engineering, Security, and Application teams to resolve complex technical issues.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of experience in platform administration, application administration, infrastructure operations, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ataccama Administration and enterprise data management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Ataccama platform architecture, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience working with Linux/Unix environments, including shell commands, system services, logs, processes, and troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of database management, connectivity, performance monitoring, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
  • Practical experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Strong understanding of performance tuning, capacity management, resource utilisation, and application optimisation.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, incident management, and production support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across application, infrastructure, and database layers.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications across multiple environments and managing production releases.
  • Understanding of security, access management, change management, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability practices.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to production incidents and operational challenges.
  • Proactive mindset with strong ownership of platform stability, reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
