About the role
The Business Manager, Crypto supports the Head of Crypto in driving operational discipline and connected planning across the Crypto business unit. The role relies on strong organisational, communication, and project management capabilities to improve efficiency, remove barriers to collaboration, and strengthen how the Crypto team operates day-to-day.
As the primary link between the Head of Crypto and the wider business, this position supports Crypto teams’ business planning cycle, coordinates reporting, and drives initiatives that enhance engagement and delivery.
The role also leads broader business transformation activities within the Crypto business unit, partnering with senior stakeholders to support the delivery of initiatives, ranging from tactical programs to complex and cross-functional strategic projects.
As our Business Manager, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Support business planning and financial planning activities across the Crypto business unit, ensuring alignment with financial year objectives.
- Coordinate forecasting, business cases, and time-sensitive proposals with Crypto team leaders.
- Support resource planning and budget management in collaboration with Finance and People & Culture.
- Lead broader business transformation activities within the Crypto business unit.
- Support change management, stakeholder alignment, and communication associated with evolving operating models, structure, and workforce impacts arising from transformation initiatives.
- Manage collaboration within the Crypto business unit and coordinate engagement with other parts of the business, acting as a central point of contact for cross-functional matters.
- Drive the adoption and optimization of core operations tools to enhance visibility, efficiency and outputs.
- Lead on key reporting, including business updates, KPIs, dashboards, and planning documents for executive audiences.
- Develop and maintain productivity dashboards and metrics, offering actionable insights on performance and delivery.
- Support the internal communications strategy.
- Facilitate vendor management and support SOW and invoice approval processes.
- Act as a credible representative of the Crypto business unit in cross-functional and leadership forums.
About you
- 6+ years’ experience in business management, crypto operations, corporate development, transformation, or strategic planning within crypto or fintech.
- Tertiary Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant disciplines are advantageous.
- Direct, hands-on experience working with a strong understanding of the global crypto market dynamics, crypto users, and regulatory considerations.
- Track record of building reporting systems, dashboards, or operating cadences from scratch.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience translating insights into clear strategic action.
- Experience working with Jira, Asana, Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Experience representing a business unit in cross-functional and leadership forums, working closely with crypto team leads across product, engineering, marketing and compliance
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across teams, carrying authority without relying on reporting lines, with a talent for distilling complexity into something senior leaders can act on
- English language proficiency is a must; Mandarin is highly desirable.
