FILRO Caregivers is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers for Seniors on an hourly 'come and go' or Live-in basis to join our team.

Description

FILRO Caregivers is a licensed home services agency focused on compassionate in-home care for older adults and the families who support them. We provide dependable, respectful care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and supported in their daily lives while preserving independence and dignity.

In this role, you will build trusted relationships with seniors and their families while delivering attentive, hands-on care across a range of home care needs. This is an important position for someone who brings patience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping older adults maintain comfort, confidence, and quality of life.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
  • Escort clients to appointments, errands, and community activities as needed.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence and dignity.
  • Assist seniors with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities safely.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior hands-on experience as a caregiver, including experience assisting with transfers, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Experience providing both live-in care and flexible come-and-go hourly care.
  • Experience providing dementia care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and build trusting, respectful relationships.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license or state ID.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Availability for live-in assignments, weekend shifts, overnight care, and flexible hourly coverage.
  • Able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull as required for caregiving duties, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
