Over Dutch Flower Group

Dutch Flower Group (DFG) is een internationale familie van meer dan 30 gespecialiseerde ondernemingen die gezamenlijk actief zijn binnen de internationale sierteeltketen. De bedrijven leveren bloemen, boeketten en planten via uiteenlopende afzetkanalen, waaronder groothandel, retail, tuincentra en online verkoopkanalen.

Binnen DFG worden lokaal ondernemerschap en een sterke eigen identiteit gecombineerd met de schaal, kennis en slagkracht van de groep. Digitalisering en datagedreven werken vormen een van de zes strategische groeipijlers richting 2030.

De uitdaging

Dutch Flower Group zoekt een Chief Technology Officer die richting geeft aan de volgende fase van digitalisering binnen de groep. De CTO krijgt de ruimte om de technologische koers richting 2030 mede vorm te geven en technologie, data en AI zichtbaar te verbinden aan de strategische en dagelijkse behoeften van de verschillende DFG-bedrijven.

De CTO opereert binnen een uitgesproken decentrale organisatie, waarin bedrijven verschillen in identiteit, marktpositie, cultuur en digitale volwassenheid. De opdracht is daarom niet gericht op centralisatie als doel op zich. De CTO bepaalt samen met de bedrijven waar samenwerking, standaardisatie en gezamenlijke investeringen aantoonbare waarde toevoegen.

Dit vraagt bovenal om een verbindende en situationeel sterke CTO die uiteenlopende stakeholders en belangen weet samen te brengen. Iemand die beweging creëert vanuit inhoud, relaties en vertrouwen, zonder voortdurend terug te vallen op hiërarchie, formeel mandaat of escalatie.

De rol

De CTO ontwikkelt en realiseert de meerjarige agenda voor IT, Digital & Data en vertaalt technologische ontwikkelingen naar concrete commerciële en operationele waarde.

Binnen de decentrale structuur van Dutch Flower Group bouwt de CTO bruggen tussen de bedrijven, de centrale organisatie en verschillende disciplines. De CTO versterkt de verbinding tussen IT en de business, stimuleert kennisdeling en samenwerking en geeft richting aan keuzes rond onder meer architectuur, ERP, cloud, applicaties, infrastructuur, cybersecurity, data en AI.

Daarnaast geeft de CTO leiding aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de IT-organisatie en zorgt ervoor dat prioriteiten aansluiten bij de behoeften van klanten en de verschillende DFG-bedrijven. Op het gebied van cybersecurity en continuïteit heeft de CTO een expliciet groepsbreed mandaat.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Ontwikkelen en realiseren van de visie en meerjarige agenda voor IT, Digital & Data.
  • Vertalen van technologie, data en AI naar zichtbare commerciële en operationele waarde.
  • Verbinden van bedrijven, stakeholders en disciplines rond gezamenlijke technologische vraagstukken.
  • Richting geven aan keuzes rond architectuur, ERP, cloud, applicaties en infrastructuur.
  • Versterken van de samenwerking en kennisdeling tussen de verschillende DFG-bedrijven.
  • Doorontwikkelen van de IT-organisatie en multidisciplinaire teams.
  • Vergroten van de aansluiting tussen IT en de dagelijkse bedrijfspraktijk.
  • Vaststellen en bewaken van groepsbrede kaders voor cybersecurity en continuïteit.
  • Realiseren van veranderinitiatieven en investeringen met aantoonbaar resultaat.
  • Opbouwen van duurzame relaties met aandeelhouders, directies en IT-verantwoordelijken binnen de groep.
  • Ruime eindverantwoordelijke ervaring binnen IT, digitalisering of technologie.
  • Ervaring met het ontwikkelen en realiseren van een meerjarige IT- en digitaliseringsagenda.
  • Voldoende technologische diepgang op het gebied van architectuur, ERP, cloud, cybersecurity, data en AI.
  • Aantoonbaar vermogen om technologie en data te vertalen naar commerciële en operationele waarde.
  • Ervaring met leiderschap en stakeholdermanagement binnen een decentrale, federatieve of anderszins complexe organisatie.
  • Bewezen vermogen om uiteenlopende stakeholders en belangen te verbinden en zonder formeel mandaat verandering te realiseren.
  • Een situationele leiderschapsstijl en het vermogen gemakkelijk te schakelen tussen aandeelhouders, bestuurders, ondernemende directeuren, IT-professionals en medewerkers in de operatie.
  • Bij voorkeur ervaring binnen handel, retail, logistiek, distributie, food/agri of een vergelijkbare ketenomgeving.
