The posting

To supervise and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning works at project sites, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electricians and electrical technicians engaged in project activities.
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor daily electrical work to ensure timely completion.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Coordinate installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, cable containment, earthing, and control systems.
  • Monitor manpower productivity and ensure efficient utilization of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and approved construction methods.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades to avoid work conflicts.
  • Conduct site inspections and identify any technical or installation issues.
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, manpower attendance, and material requirements.
  • Report project progress, delays, and resource requirements to management.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on site.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction or industrial projects.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or building projects.
  • GCC experience is preferred.
