To design, coordinate, supervise, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications, applicable standards, project schedules, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and implement ELV systems including:
- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Public Address (PA) Systems
- Structured Cabling Systems
- Telephone & Data Networks
- Fire Alarm Interface Systems
- Intrusion Detection Systems
- Video Intercom Systems
- Building Management System (BMS) Integration
- Prepare shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Review project specifications and ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within budget and schedule.
- Evaluate and approve ELV materials and equipment.
- Prepare project reports and maintain project records.
- Support the estimation and tendering team with technical inputs when required.
- Ensure adherence to HSE and quality requirements throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV systems design and project execution.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of international standards and ELV best practices.
- GCC experience is preferred.
