An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Eurostar as its Engineering Change Manager.We are looking for an Engineering Change Manager to lead the governance, coordination and delivery of Engineering Changes across Eurostar's rolling stock fleet.

This role is critical to ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining Eurostar's ECM and ISO9001 certifications, and enabling the safe and timely implementation of fleet improvements. Acting as the focal point between internal engineering teams, suppliers and key partners such as Siemens, you will drive Engineering Changes from conception through to implementation and closure.

This is a permanent role based in our Engineering Centre, that is in Leyton, East London.

Internal use only: This role is Grade E2, based in TMI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and govern the Rolling Stock Engineering Change process (EF003).
  • Manage Engineering Changes from initiation to implementation and closure.
  • Ensure fleet modification records and technical documentation remain accurate, controlled and compliant.
  • Monitor Engineering Change risks, prioritising safety-critical activities and Safety Advice Notices (SANs).
  • Act as the key interface with Siemens for Class 374 Engineering Changes.
  • Lead technical planning and coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of changes.
  • Produce performance reports and monitor delivery, resource and competency risks.
  • Manage contractors responsible for maintaining the e300 drawing suite.
  • Maintain the On-Call Authorising Engineer framework and participate in the on-call rota.

Team Leadership

  • Manage the Document Controller and Continental Liaison Team.
  • Ensure maintenance and engineering documentation is available, controlled and translated where required.
  • Ensure fleet configuration is accurately reflected within the Maintenance Management System.
  • Promote a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Essential

  • HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent specialising in Engineering
  • Demonstrable navigation through, and understanding of complex, (numerous stakeholders, third party verification and/or significant according to CSM-REA) Engineering Changes - ideally in rolling stock context.
  • Regulatory requirements related to Engineering Change including and verification.
  • Change management
  • Managing safety
  • Rolling stock legislation, regulations and standards
