We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Engineering Manager to lead product engineering initiatives across iOS development and Data Engineering. The role combines people leadership, product thinking, technical execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-focused technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a strong engineering leader who can work closely with Product Managers, designers, data teams, and senior stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective technical solutions. You will be responsible for building high-performing engineering teams, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring engineering decisions remain aligned with product and customer outcomes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for iOS, product engineering, and data-related initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Managers to translate product strategy, customer needs, and business requirements into technical execution plans.
  • Own engineering delivery across multiple projects, ensuring quality, timelines, scalability, and reliability.
  • Provide technical direction for iOS application architecture, development, integrations, and production releases.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on scalable data pipelines, processing systems, integrations, and data platforms.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and technology decisions.
  • Establish engineering standards around code quality, testing, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Mentor engineers and technical leads while building a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process or architecture improvements.
  • Work with Product, Design, QA, Data, DevOps, and other teams to ensure effective end-to-end product delivery.
  • Monitor engineering metrics, delivery progress, production reliability, and overall team performance.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development of engineering talent.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development workflows, CI/CD, testing, observability, and release processes.
  • Ensure engineering solutions are scalable and capable of supporting evolving product and business requirements.
  • Communicate technical progress, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering, engineering management, technical leadership, or a closely related role.
  • Strong experience leading engineering teams and delivering production-grade technology products.
  • Good understanding of iOS development, mobile application architecture, and the Apple development ecosystem.
  • Strong product mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers and translate business requirements into engineering outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of Data Engineering, including data pipelines, integrations, processing systems, data platforms, and data quality.
  • Experience with architecture, system design, APIs, distributed systems, and scalable application development.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, testing, deployment, and production operations.
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers, manage performance, delegate effectively, and build high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound technical judgement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence, product priorities, delivery timelines, and business objectives.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
