The posting

We’re growing our Sales team and looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business and expand PERSUIT’s footprint across EMEA. You’ll work with the legal teams of large corporates and private equity firms, helping identify and develop the strongest opportunities across the region.

Based in London and reporting to our VP of Enterprise Sales, you’ll work closely with our UK Business Development team and broader go-to-market organization. This is a true new business role: you’ll build and develop your pipeline, establish relationships with senior decision-makers, and own opportunities from the first conversation through to signature.

PERSUIT helps in-house legal teams source, manage, and pay for outside legal work. Our platform includes Sourcing, e-Billing, Price Benchmarking, and Persi, our AI assistant, and is used by many of the world’s leading legal departments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive New Business: Identify, prospect, and build relationships with large corporates and private equity firms across EMEA, generating new opportunities through proactive outbound efforts alongside support from our Business Development and Marketing teams.
  • Build Relationships within Private Equity: Engage General Counsel, COOs, CFOs, and other senior stakeholders at private equity firms, demonstrating how PERSUIT can deliver value both at the fund level and across portfolio companies.
  • Partner with Corporate Legal Teams: Build trusted relationships with General Counsel, Legal Operations leaders, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders within large enterprise organizations.
  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Manage opportunities from initial outreach and discovery through demos, business cases, pricing, negotiation, and close, bringing in internal partners where they can add value.
  • Develop Your Territory: Build and evolve a thoughtful territory plan across EMEA, identifying the markets, sectors, and segments with the strongest opportunities and partnering with Sales leadership on where to focus.
  • Build and Manage Your Pipeline: Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities to support your targets while keeping HubSpot accurate and up to date to enable effective forecasting.
  • Partner with Business Development: Work closely with our Business Development team on target accounts, outreach strategies, and seamless handoffs from initial engagement into the sales process.
  • Stay Close to the Market: Keep up with trends across legal technology, Legal Operations, private equity, and the broader enterprise landscape to ensure your outreach and client conversations are relevant and timely.
  • Collaborate Across PERSUIT: Partner with colleagues across our broader GTM and Product teams to deliver a strong prospect experience and bring insights from the market back into the business.

Compensation

This role offers a £120,000 GBP base salary plus variable compensation.

Work Authorization

Candidates must have current, valid work authorization in the country where the role is based. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide sponsorship for visas or work permits at this time.

Requirements

Who You Are

You’re driven, competitive, curious, and coachable, with a desire to continue building your career in enterprise sales. You may already be closing deals, or you may be a top-performing SDR or BDR ready to take the next step.

You bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or another client-facing role within a fast-moving environment such as SaaS, consulting, or professional services.
  • A demonstrated track record of achievement, whether through targets exceeded, strong performance rankings, promotions, increased responsibility, or other meaningful accomplishments.
  • A genuine appetite for new business development and the confidence to proactively create opportunities from the ground up.
  • The ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders and hold thoughtful conversations with General Counsel, COOs, CFOs, and other decision-makers.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills across written communication, calls, presentations, and in-person conversations.
  • The ability to navigate opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong organization and discipline, with the ability to manage your own time, prioritize effectively, and consistently follow through.
  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to seek feedback, learn quickly, and continuously improve.
  • A degree is preferred, ideally in Law, Business, Economics, or a related field, but is not essential.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience selling to private equity firms, asset managers, or other financial services organizations.
  • Experience selling to legal departments, Legal Operations, or procurement teams.
  • Experience closing complex enterprise deals involving longer sales cycles and formal procurement processes.
  • Fluency in an additional European language, such as German, French, or Dutch.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Gong, or similar sales tools.
  • An interest in legal technology and how AI is changing the way legal teams work.

How You’ll Work

  • Location: London, with flexible working. We’ll ask you to spend time in the office during onboarding and encourage opportunities to collaborate with the team in person.
  • Travel: Regular travel across EMEA to meet with prospective clients, build relationships, and attend relevant industry events.
  • Growth: You’ll have the opportunity to build a significant territory, learn from an experienced enterprise sales team, and grow your career as our presence across EMEA continues to expand.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
