The posting

SWOT Hospitality is looking for a motivated, organized Events & Sales Coordinator to join our hotel team in Samos.

The successful candidate will support the Sales and Events department in coordinating events, managing client inquiries, handling group bookings, and ensuring the smooth execution of meetings, conferences, social events, and special occasions hosted at the hotel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the planning and organization of hotel events, meetings, conferences, and social functions.
  • Handle client inquiries, prepare proposals, quotations, and event contracts.
  • Support the sales team in identifying business opportunities and developing strong client relationships.
  • Manage event bookings, function sheets, and all relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with hotel departments, including Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Front Office, and Operations, to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Follow up with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, bookings, and client communications.
  • Monitor event requirements and ensure that all services are delivered according to agreed standards.
  • Assist in achieving the hotel's sales targets and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel sales, event coordination, or a similar hospitality role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel systems or CRM platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Professional attitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
