The posting

We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation as it begins a multi-year financial crime transformation programme, centred on implementing Fenergo as its client lifecycle management platform.

This is a hands-on analysis role in the programme's implementation workstream. You will work across the organisation's KYC, onboarding and periodic review processes. That means establishing how they operate today, defining how they need to operate in future, and turning that into requirements the programme can deliver.

The work is requirements-led. You will engage Financial Crime, Compliance, Operations and Technology stakeholders, map current and target state processes, and make sure what is configured in Fenergo reflects both internal policy and regulatory obligations. Because the programme is regulatory-driven, the analysis needs to be traceable, well evidenced and able to withstand scrutiny from compliance, audit and risk.

The role suits a business analyst from a financial crime change background, ideally with exposure to a CLM implementation. You should combine structured analysis with the confidence to work directly with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders. This is an initial 6-month engagement, with a strong likelihood of extension to two years as the programme progresses. It is based in London, with three days per week on site, and is expected to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, document and validate business requirements across KYC, CDD, EDD and client onboarding processes.
  • Map current and target state processes, identifying gaps against internal policy and regulatory obligations.
  • Support the configuration of Fenergo, including policy rules, data requirements, risk models and workflow design.
  • Carry out data analysis and data mapping to support the migration of client records onto the new platform.
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria, making sure requirements are clear, testable and traceable.
  • Support test planning and execution, including UAT, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Work with Financial Crime, Compliance, Operations and Technology stakeholders to secure alignment and sign-off on requirements.
  • Contribute to business readiness, including procedure updates, training materials and change impact assessments.

Requirements

  • A background in business analysis within financial crime, KYC or client onboarding change in financial services.
  • A sound understanding of AML, KYC, CDD and EDD requirements, including the UK Money Laundering Regulations and JMLSG guidance.
  • Fenergo implementation experience is strongly preferred, though exposure to other CLM platforms will also be considered.
  • Strong process mapping, requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Experience writing user stories and supporting UAT in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Confidence working with data, including data mapping and migration analysis.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
  • A relevant BA certification (e.g. BCS) or financial crime qualification (e.g. ICA) is an advantage.

Benefits

Length: Initial 6-month contract, with likely extension to two years Salary: £42,000–£55,000, dependent on experience

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
