The posting

(Salary SGD2700-3700)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer (Print & Production) to join our fun and dynamic Marketing & Communications team. In this role, you will be the visual guardian of our campus identity, translating academic excellence into compelling physical collateral—from student recruitment brochures and campus posters to event signage and decal across our campus. You will manage the end-to-end design and print production process, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, managing external agencies, and liaising with print vendors to deliver flawless, brand-aligned visual assets. Key Responsibilities 1. Print Design & Campus Collaterals • Conceptualize and produce high-quality print marketing materials, including course brochures, prospectuses, flyers, campus posters, large-format event backdrops, pull-up banners, and corporate stationery. • Maintain consistency with the institution’s brand guidelines across all programs (Diploma to MBA level). • Prepare production-ready files with strict adherence to print standards (CMYK color profiles, bleeds, margins, crops, resolutions, and dielines). 2. Pre-Press & Vendor Management • Own the entire print production workflow from design output to print timelines. • Review digital and physical hardcopy proofs, color draw-downs, and material samples to ensure print quality and finishing (e.g., embossing, spot UV, paper weight/texture). 3. Agency & External Partner Coordination • Formulate clear, concise design briefs for external creative agencies and freelancers when offloading production or campaign-specific workloads. • Review agency deliverables, provide actionable creative feedback, and ensure final artwork aligns with institutional standards and deadlines. 4. Bilingual Typography & Content Support • Typeset, lay out, and proofread both English and Chinese marketing copy on printed materials, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural nuance, and typographic hierarchy. • Liaise with Chinese-speaking team or vendors, or regional student recruitment representatives as needed. 5. Ad-Hoc Event & Student Photography (Secondary Task) • Provide secondary photo coverage when the primary in-house photographer is unavailable. • Capture high-quality photos for campus events (e.g., orientation, graduation, masterclasses) and student portraits. • Perform basic post-processing and photo retouching in Adobe Photoshop / Lightroom or any other tools. Job Requirements • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a solid focus on print production and brand collateral. Experience in the education or corporate sector is an advantage. • Technical Mastery: o Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. o Familiarity with quick-turnaround design tools such as Canva is a plus. o Strong technical understanding of prepress processes, dyeline creation, paper stock selection, and print finishes. • Language Proficiency: o Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written) to typeset, edit, and proofread Chinese collateral and communicate with Chinese-speaking partners. • Photography Skills: o Fundamental hands-on experience handling DSLR/Mirrorless camera gear for event and portrait photography.

• Soft Skills: o Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with academic heads, external vendors, and creative agencies. o Highly organized, proactive, and capable of prioritizing multiple project deadlines simultaneously. o Attention to detail. What to Include in Your Application • An updated Resume / CV. • A portfolio link or PDF showcasing recent print design work, including multi-page editorial layouts, prepress projects, and sample photography.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
