- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the company's technology and cybersecurity strategy aligned with overarching business goals. Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technology and cybersecurity teams.
- Operations & Defense: Lead and oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC), incident response, threat monitoring, and cyber defense operations.
- Service Delivery: Manage the delivery of premium cybersecurity services, including VAPT, red teaming, cloud security, and managed security services.
- Architecture & Innovation: Design and maintain a secure, scalable, and resilient technology infrastructure and security architecture. Drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across security operations and platforms.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic advisor to enterprise and government clients on cybersecurity risks, solutions, and best practices. Support business growth through technical pre-sales, solution architecture, executive presentations, and customer engagement.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce cybersecurity governance, policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, etc.).
- Vendor & Asset Management: Manage strategic partnerships, technology vendors, budgets, and cybersecurity investments.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a dedicated leadership role.
- Core Domain Expertise: Proven experience managing a SOC, incident response, cybersecurity operations, or working within a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) environment.
- Technical Depth: Strong expertise in cloud security, SIEM/SOAR, network security, IAM/PAM, EDR/XDR, and security architecture with deep understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and cyber risk management.
- Frameworks & Standards: Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.
- Consulting & Delivery: Experience leading cybersecurity consulting, enterprise security projects, or client-facing engagements.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
- Certifications (Preferred): Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent.
- Technology Stack (Advantageous): Familiarity with tools such as Google SecOps, Mandiant, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or Splunk.
