Description
Be part of a team that helps create an environment where recovery can begin.
Orlando Recovery Center is looking for a dependable, compassionate Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. In this role, you’ll do more than keep a facility clean—you’ll help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for individuals who are taking important steps toward recovery.
This position supports a trusted behavioral health program within the Advanced Recovery Systems family. Advanced Recovery Systems is the parent organization of The Recovery Village, Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch, bringing together established treatment brands with a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care.
While you’ll work primarily at Orlando Recovery Center, you’ll be part of a larger, growing organization focused on improving patient outcomes, supporting our employees, and strengthening the communities we serve.
Our housekeeping team plays an essential role in the patient experience. From maintaining clean and comfortable rooms and public spaces to caring for floors, carpets, and linens, your work helps patients feel respected, supported, and cared for throughout their stay.
You’ll work alongside a dedicated facility team in a professional, patient-centered environment. If you take pride in your work, enjoy staying active, and want a position where your efforts have a meaningful impact on others, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain assigned patient rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces according to established standards.
- Perform floor care, including scrubbing, refinishing, and maintaining hard-surface floors.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets and address carpet spots and spills.
- Maintain and distribute linen inventory.
- Keep cleaning equipment, supplies, and assigned work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with emergency spills and other cleaning needs as they arise.
- Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with facility leadership and other team members to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or behavioral health experience is a plus.
- A strong work ethic and pride in maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member.
- Friendly, professional communication and a service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments.
- Ability to safely use commercial cleaning equipment, products, and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the workday.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, workplace safety, professionalism, and infection-control practices.
Benefits
We believe taking care of our employees is an important part of taking care of our patients. Eligible full-time employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, and overall well-being, including:
- Medical insurance with multiple plan options to help fit different healthcare needs and budgets.
