We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to take full responsibility for the HR agenda in the Czech Republic and lead one HR team member within the local HR team.
We are looking for someone who can act as a strong partner to the business, understands day-to-day HR operations and at the same time brings new ideas and initiatives to continuously improve HR processes, employee experience and company culture.
The role is part of an international HR organization, therefore previous experience in a global, ideally matrix-structured company is important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the HR Partner for local management, the Board of Directors and employees, providing both strategic and hands-on HR support.
- Lead and develop one member of the local HR team and ensure effective day-to-day HR support together.
- Take responsibility for the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, changes to employment conditions and offboarding.
- Support and coach managers in people management, performance management, talent development and employee relations.
- Manage key HR processes including performance management, salary reviews, talent reviews and compensation & benefits.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve employee experience, engagement, internal communication and company culture.
- Partner with management on organizational changes and other people- and organization-related decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Czech labour law, internal policies and global HR standards.
- Cooperate with the external payroll provider and ensure the accuracy of payroll inputs and controls.
- Implement global HR initiatives in the local organization.
- Work closely with Finance, local management and the global HR team within a matrix organization.
- Support HR audits and continuously improve HR processes and internal controls.
Requirements
- Solid experience as an HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner or in a similar senior HR role.
- Proven experience working in a global matrix organization and the ability to effectively collaborate with both local and global stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Czech labour law and practical employee relations experience.
- Broad HR experience across recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits and HR operations.
- Experience partnering with senior management and the ability to act as a credible and trusted HR partner.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions and take full ownership of the local HR agenda.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a strong focus on improving HR processes and employee experience and turning ideas into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluent English, enabling effective daily cooperation with an international team.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
