Description du poste

Nous recherchons activement un(e) Infirmier(ère) en Psychiatrie pour combler un mandat d'envergure au sein de l'unité de Psychiatrie interne de Baie-Comeau, sur le territoire de la Manicouagan (Côte-Nord). Vous intégrerez un environnement spécialisé où votre jugement clinique, votre écoute et votre gestion des situations de crise seront au cœur de votre pratique.

  • Période du mandat : Du 19 octobre 2026 au 1er février 2027 (Fin prévue sans possibilité de prolongation).
  • Flexibilité des quarts : Rotation requise sur les quarts de Parfois Jour, Soir et Nuit.
  • Disponibilité les fins de semaine : Au besoin, selon l'horaire de l'unité.
  • Orientation : Une période de 2 jours d'orientation est entièrement prévue à votre arrivée.

Vos responsabilités

  • Assurer l'évaluation infirmière complète de l'état de santé mentale et physique des patients hospitalisés en psychiatrie interne.
  • Concevoir et appliquer les plans de soins infirmiers adaptés aux pathologies psychiatriques aiguës ou chroniques.
  • Intervenir de manière préventive et sécuritaire lors de situations d'agitation, de crise ou de désorganisation clinique.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l'équipe interdisciplinaire (psychiatres, travailleurs sociaux, éducateurs) pour favoriser la stabilisation et la réadaptation des usagers.

Exigences obligatoires du poste

  • Ordre professionnel : Être membre en règle de l'OIIQ.
  • Expérience : Détenir une expérience pratique et pertinente en milieu de psychiatrie.
  • Formation requise : Maîtrise obligatoire de la formation Oméga (intervention face à l'agressivité).
  • Aptitudes : Excellente gestion du stress, empathie, rigueur éthique et capacité à travailler en équipe multidisciplinaire de crise.
