Position Title: Inventory Technician (Full-Time)
The Inventory Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with Missouri state regulations, and supporting the overall efficiency of dispensary operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dispensary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
• Conduct daily inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Update inventory logs and maintain accurate records of all cannabis products.
• Assist in receiving, labeling, and organizing incoming products.
Compliance:
• Ensure all inventory practices adhere to Missouri state regulations, including the use of the DHSS-certified seed-to-sale tracking system.
• Report any discrepancies or variances in inventory to management promptly.
• Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements.
Operational Support:
• Collaborate with the dispensary team to forecast inventory needs.
• Assist in preparing inventory reports for management review.
• Support the implementation of inventory control procedures to minimize loss and ensure product integrity.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by Missouri state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the cannabis industry with knowledge of state-specific regulations.
• Familiarity with seed-to-sale tracking systems such as Metrc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
