Optimiza is a regional systems integration and digital transformation consultancy delivering business and technology solutions across multiple industries. Our work brings together business insight and technical execution to help clients plan, implement, and improve the systems and processes that support their goals. We are looking for an IT Project Manager to help drive complex initiatives from planning through delivery while maintaining strong alignment across stakeholders, teams, and project objectives.
In this role, you will play a central part in shaping how projects are delivered, ensuring that requirements are clear, priorities are coordinated, and progress is tracked effectively across each stage of execution. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, support structured decision-making, and help keep projects moving with a strong focus on quality, governance, and successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Plan, initiate, and manage projects using appropriate methodologies, including defining scope, requirements, timelines, schedules, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with business units, technical leads, PLMs, clients, and other stakeholders to align requirements, responsibilities, resources, and project objectives.
- Identify and allocate technical resources, tools, software, and personnel based on project needs, while documenting technical requirements and specifications.
- Identify and monitor project risks and issues, develop mitigation and resolution plans, and assess and manage changes to project scope and requirements.
- Coordinate with QA teams and clients to ensure quality standards are met and testing activities, including UAT, are properly planned and executed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records, including status reports, MOMs, delay logs, SRSs, BRDs, and change requests, while ensuring compliance with PMO governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of project management experience, including experience managing projects within the government sector.
- Advanced experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with solid experience working across the software development lifecycle.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Project, as well as experience with documentation tools such as Slab and Notion.
- Experience organizing project repositories using GitHub, SharePoint, and Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Drive.
- Experience working directly with government clients, enterprise development solutions stakeholders, senior business stakeholders, technical leads, and PMO leadership.
- PMP certification.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Eligibility to work in Jordan.
- Able to travel internationally for up to 80% of working time.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, and Slack is a plus.
