The posting

We are looking for an experienced IT Solution Analyst – Business Solutions to support the eMarketPlace platform and related digital commerce solutions.

The role will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into scalable technology solutions, supporting solution design and implementation, and working closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver effective eCommerce and marketplace capabilities.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in eMarketPlace solutions, commerce solutions, eCommerce platforms, CommerceTools, MACH architecture, guided buying, and eCatalogue solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution requirements.
  • Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of eMarketPlace and eCommerce solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and future requirements.
  • Define solution approaches that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture, security, integration, and technology standards.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of CommerceTools and other commerce-related platforms.
  • Work with solution architects, developers, product owners, vendors, and business teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Support MACH architecture principles, including Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless approaches.
  • Support guided buying capabilities and digital procurement/customer purchasing journeys.
  • Define and document requirements for eCatalogue solutions, product information, pricing, availability, and related marketplace capabilities.
  • Develop functional specifications, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support integration requirements between the marketplace/eCommerce platform and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, payment, logistics, identity, and other business applications.
  • Participate in solution evaluations, technical discussions, proof-of-concepts, and vendor assessments.
  • Work with development and testing teams to ensure that delivered solutions meet business and functional requirements.
  • Support system testing, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities associated with proposed solutions.
  • Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.
  • Prepare solution documentation and maintain relevant technical and functional artifacts.
  • Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for eMarketPlace and commerce solutions.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in IT business solutions, solution analysis, eCommerce, digital commerce, marketplace, or related domains.
  • Strong experience with eMarketPlace solutions and commerce platforms.
  • Hands-on or strong functional experience with CommerceTools.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and digital commerce architectures.
  • Experience with MACH architecture and modern headless commerce concepts.
  • Experience with guided buying and digital purchasing/procurement journeys.
  • Experience with eCatalogue solutions and product/catalog management.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements into technology solutions.
