This role is open only to candidates currently based in Thailand or Indonesia, with a hybrid arrangement in Bangkok and a remote arrangement in Indonesia.
Cube is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer who is keen to learn and help us maintain and operate the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines behind our products.
You will work closely with the Senior Infrastructure team, Software Engineering and Data Engineering teams to support secure, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure while helping our engineering teams deliver software, data pipelines smoothly and improve operational practices.
Responsibilities
- Support the setup, maintenance, and operation of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
- Support the deployment and maintain containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar platforms.
- Support cloud networking, databases, monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery operations.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications, investigate alerts, troubleshoot issues, and escalate incidents when needed.
- Assist with routine infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with the Software Engineering and Data Engineering teams to support their infrastructure and deployment needs.
- Assist with infrastructure and modernization projects.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, System Administration, SRE, or a similar role.
- Basic experience administering Linux servers and working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Basic experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.
- Basic understanding of basic cloud networking concepts.
- Basic experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools.
- Basic knowledge of commonly used databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Basic knowledge to write basic Bash, Python, or similar scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Good to have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and work across engineering teams.
- Cloud or Infrastructure certifications are a plus.
