Our partner is an Hungarian group of companies striving for innovative engineering services and IT solutions. Their development team, participating in a "big science" program in Lund, Sweden, expands significantly, so if the following tasks sound interesting, please apply!

Scope of the Role:

Support the efforts of the Motion Control & Automation Group (MCAG) of implementing Functional Safety of Moving Machinery (Motion Safety) on Neutron Instruments; integrate the respective system into the motion control PLC system.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years in developing, integrating and commissioning industrial automation systems.
  • Experience in verification and validation of industrial automation systems.
  • Experience in documenting these systems.
  • Evaluation of motion hazards and definition of motion safety requirements according to EN ISO 12100 and 13849; knowledge of the respective processes and workflow.
  • Design of functional safety systems.
  • Knowledge of the validation process of functional safety on moving machinery.
  • Knowledge of preparing the respective documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills are mandatory.
  • Hungarian citizenship and fluent Hungarian language skills are mandatory.
