Founded in 2015 in Athens, Greece, Welcome Pickups goes beyond the standard airport transfer. We were the first company to offer a complete, personalised travel experience in the destination itself. From the moment travellers land somewhere new until their journey home, we take care of what they need: airport and city transfers, sightseeing trips and local tips, in the easiest, friendliest and most personal way possible.
Our drivers are local experts who share what they know about their city, so travellers feel at home wherever they are. Today we operate in 350+ cities worldwide, working with thousands of drivers, fleet partners, hotels and travel companies. Along the way, we've built a people-centric culture and a high-energy place to work where your impact shows every day.

Why now? We're scaling faster than ever. This year, Airbnb started offering airport pickups by Welcome Pickups directly in its app in cities across Europe, Asia and Latin America. That means more destinations, more partners, more drivers and more travellers counting on us every day.
To keep up, we're evolving our Operations function, and new roles open often, sometimes at short notice. We want to be ready with the right people when they do.
Where you could make an impact
- Driver supply: growing our driver and fleet partner network in the right places at the right time
- Regional & destination operations: owning results in a city or region, from capacity to service quality
- Market launch: opening new destinations and relaunching existing ones
- Live operations: keeping rides running in real time and solving problems as they happen
- Quality & driver engagement: setting the standard for a premium ride and keeping drivers engaged
- Operational excellence & data: improving processes, automation and reporting
Requirements
Who we'd love to hear from
- Operations experience in a fast-paced business, ideally mobility, travel, marketplaces, logistics or on-demand services
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of tasks, requests or partners while keeping quality high and deadlines met
- Comfortable with constant change: you stay calm under pressure, prioritise quickly and solve problems as they come up
- Strong communication skills, written and spoken, with people at every level, from drivers and partners to senior stakeholders
- Excellent organisation and coordination: you keep many moving parts on track across teams, cities and time zones
- Tech-savvy: you learn new tools quickly and are confident with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel), CRMs and ops platforms
- Data-driven: you use numbers and dashboards to spot issues, track performance and make decisions
- Curious and proactive: you look for ways to improve processes, including with automation and AI tools
- Fluent English; other languages are a big plus
