The posting

We are seeking a skilled Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in diagnosing and surgically managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of orthopaedic conditions.
  • Perform elective and emergency orthopaedic surgical procedures.
  • Manage fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal trauma.
  • Perform appropriate arthroscopic and minimally invasive procedures.
  • Manage conditions affecting the spine, joints, bones, muscles, and ligaments.
  • Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
  • Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
  • Coordinate rehabilitation and follow-up care with physiotherapists and other specialists.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physiatrists, pain specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate clinical and surgical documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • MS/DNB/MD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Orthopaedics.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in general orthopaedic surgery and trauma management.
  • Experience in arthroscopy or minimally invasive orthopaedic procedures is an advantage.
  • Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
