Outside Sales Representative – Business Development

Disaster Restoration (B2B) | Norcross, GA | Territory: Greater Atlanta

$60,000–$80,000 Base Salary • Uncapped Commission • $100K+ Income Potential • Vehicle Allowance

You Already Know Half the People on Your Prospect List

If you've spent a few years calling on property managers, plumbers, contractors, or insurance offices anywhere around Atlanta, you've built something valuable — and you probably haven't been paid much for it.

Nobody writes you a check because a facility manager in Marietta trusts your judgment, or because you can get a plumbing company owner on the phone on a Tuesday afternoon. Those relationships just sit there, quietly worth something.

This job pays you for exactly that.

Metro Atlanta is more than six million people, an enormous multifamily footprint, and tens of thousands of commercial buildings. Water damage, mold, and property emergencies happen across all of it, every single week. Somebody is going to be the person those property professionals call first when it does.

We're hiring the person who wants that to be them.

Why the Income Compounds Instead of Resetting

Most sales jobs start over at zero every January. This one doesn't, because of who you're selling to.

A plumber running service calls across the north metro will run into water losses over and over. A property manager may be responsible for hundreds of units. An insurance agent talks with property owners all day long. A facility manager may oversee an entire portfolio of buildings.

Earn the trust of any one of those people and you haven't made a sale — you've opened a source of work that keeps producing long after the meeting that started it.

So you're not chasing one-off homeowners. You're building a network of repeat referral partners and commercial accounts:

• Insurance agents and adjusters

• Plumbers, HVAC companies, and contractors

• Property managers and multifamily professionals

• Facility managers and commercial property professionals

Year one, you're building. Year three, you're still building — on top of everything that's already producing.

To Be Clear: You Will Have to Go Get It

Relationship selling and passive networking are not the same thing. Nobody is going to hand you a list of warm accounts and ask you to maintain it.

You'll be opening doors that are currently closed — introducing yourself to businesses that have never heard of us, asking for the meeting, and following up longer than most salespeople are willing to.

You'll have structure, systems, and leadership behind you. You'll still be the one who has to execute.

What an Actual Tuesday Looks Like

• Out in the territory meeting property managers, plumbers, and adjusters face-to-face

• Walking into businesses that don't know us yet and introducing the company

• Running consultative conversations about how properties get protected — not product pitches

• Attending association meetings, industry events, and networking functions where our customers already gather

• Following up on the twelve conversations you started last week

• Keeping your pipeline and activity current in CRM

• Coordinating with operations when a relationship turns into an active job, so the work reflects well on you

Six to Twelve Months In, Here's What Winning Looks Like

• A real referral network that produces opportunities without you chasing every one

• Consistent qualified meetings on your calendar every week

• Visible presence in the Atlanta property and contractor community

• A healthy, growing pipeline you can actually forecast from

• Repeat business from partners who called you the first time and kept calling

• Income trending toward $100K+

Staying busy is not the measure. Activity that turns into relationships that turn into revenue is.

Who You'd Be Representing

Leak Pros of Georgia & Mold-B-Gone is a growing restoration company in Norcross that was built around a real sales organization — not one bolted on as an afterthought.

That matters more than it sounds. It means the systems, the leadership, and the marketing are set up to help a salesperson produce consistently instead of improvising alone. When you spend six months earning a property manager's trust, there's an operation behind you capable of protecting it.

If This Sounds Like You

Apply. Tell us about a relationship you built that turned into real business, and what it took to get there.

Atlanta's territory is open. We'd rather hand it to someone who's been waiting for a job like this than keep looking for someone perfect.

Requirements

Who Fits This Role

You'll do well here if you have:

• 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience

• Comfort building a territory from zero rather than inheriting one

• Genuine networking and relationship-building ability — people remember you

• Real self-discipline and follow-through, because nobody is watching your calendar for you

• Coachability, without needing to be managed day to day

Existing relationships in property management, multifamily, construction, or insurance are a significant advantage. They are not a requirement — but if you have them, this is where they finally start paying you back.

If you're looking for inbound leads, a short transactional cycle, or a territory someone else already warmed up, this won't be a fit.

Benefits

What It Pays

• $60,000–$80,000 base salary

• Uncapped commission

• $100K+ income potential

• Vehicle allowance, plus gas card / company credit card

• Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans available

• HSA / FSA available

• 401(k) with up to 4% company match

• Paid time off and paid holidays

• Company laptop and phone, with technology support

• Career growth opportunity in a growing market

The base is real money on its own. The commission is where this role separates itself over time.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
