ADP Payroll Specialist – Key Responsibilities
- Process off‑cycle payments for missed hours and vacation donations accurately and on time
- Prepare and process final paychecks for Nevada (NV) and California (CA) employees on a daily basis, ensuring compliance with state requirements
- Enroll and manage Wisely Pay Cards within ADP
- Review and update vacation balances for terminated employees, including those based in Washington (WA)
- Conduct employment verifications (written and verbal) in a timely and compliant manner
- Prepare and send unemployment notices to applicable communities
- Generate and review SAW reports for Workers’ Compensation purposes
- Assist in providing payroll records and documentation for Legal and audit requests
Maintain and update employee payroll information in ADP, including:
- Direct Deposit (DD)
- W‑4 forms
- Address, name, and badge number changes
- Review employee timecards for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with Business Office
- Managers (BOMs) and General Managers (GMs)
- Ensure proper payroll document filing and record maintenance in accordance with company policy and compliance standards
Requirements
Must have the following:
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or ADP Lyric
- End-to-end payroll processing experience (including off-cycle and final pay)
- Exposure to US payroll environment (multi-state preferred: CA, NV, WA)
- Timekeeping review and error resolution (e.g., timecards, discrepancies)
- Data entry accuracy: DD, W4, employee changes
- Ability to handle confidential payroll and legal-related records
- Deadline oriented and fast paced work environment
- Process Final Cheque for NV and CA communities on daily Basis
- Enrolling Wisely Cards in ADP
- Sending Unemployment notices to the communities
