Tutor Me Education is a leading educational service provider dedicated to connecting passionate instructors and therapists with schools and students. We provide flexible teletherapy options that allow clinicians to deliver high-impact 1:1 care from anywhere while making a direct difference in students' academic and personal growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual 1:1 speech therapy services to Elementary students (K–5th grade) in California.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in pediatric speech therapy, with specific experience in articulation therapy, syntax expansion, and narrative retell strategies. Candidates must be available to conduct sessions based on Pacific Time (PT) scheduling.

Position Details

  • Student Population: Kindergarten through 5th Grade (Elementary)
  • Duration: Long-term assignment (3–6 months)
  • Weekly Hours: 45 minutes per week per assigned student (1 session/week)
  • Time Zone / Availability: Must be available during Pacific Time (PT) hours. High demand on Tuesdays & Wednesdays around 8:00 AM, 2:30 PM, & 5:30 PM PST onwards.
  • Format: 100% Remote / Teletherapy

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct 1:1 virtual speech therapy sessions focusing on pediatric speech challenges, articulation, syntax expansion, and narrative retell strategies.
  • Design engaging, age-appropriate digital speech activities for K–5 students.
  • Develop, monitor, and update individualized speech and language goals.
  • Maintain clean documentation and progress notes for each session.
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, and educational staff to support student progress.

Qualifications

  • Active California State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (Required).
  • Candidates who are actively in the licensure process with the California board with strong pediatric credentials are welcome to apply.
  • Availability during Pacific Time (PT) business/after-school hours.
  • Required Clinical Expertise:
  • Pediatric Speech Therapy (K–5th Grade)

  • Syntax Expansion
  • Narrative Retell Strategies
  • Prior experience delivering remote/teletherapy services to elementary-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy and a reliable, high-speed internet connection for smooth video sessions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
