The posting

Salary: £37,775 plus benefits (Our pay philosophy ensures consistency across locations and salaries. The starting salary for this opportunity plus benefits depends on location of the candidate).

The role:

We are delighted to be recruiting for a People & Culture Advisor to join our global People & Culture team at Mary's Meals International (MMI) on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the People & Culture Lead, you will provide high-quality HR advice and sound judgement across a broad range of people matters, helping to deliver a positive and consistent employee and manager experience across our global movement. This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact in a varied role, working across a truly international organisation and contributing to a broad range of People & Culture priorities.

This is a varied generalist role where you'll take ownership of complex employee relations casework, build strong relationships across our international network, and provide practical values-led solutions in a fast-paced environment. You'll support the consistent application of our people policies, processes and frameworks, while contributing to projects and initiatives that help attract, develop and retain great people across Mary's Meals.

Key priorities:

  • Manage and advise on a range of employee relations cases, supporting fair, consistent and values-led outcomes.

  • Contribute to People & Culture projects, performance processes, people reporting and delivery of HR training.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment activity in partnership with the Head of Recruitment and hiring managers.
  • Provide People & Culture support and guidance across MMI and the wider global network.

We are looking for:

  • A proven HR generalist with significant employee relations experience, including managing complex cases and confidently advising managers on the practical application of UK employment law.
  • Confidence working across different countries and organisational contexts, applying sound judgement while recognising that local employment requirements may vary.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
  • Experience managing HR projects or complex people issues from start to finish.
  • A collaborative, flexible mindset and a genuine commitment to Mary’s Meals’ mission and values.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
