The posting

We are seeking a skilled Specialist Pulmonologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in diagnosing and managing respiratory conditions and providing comprehensive pulmonary care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Manage conditions including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
  • Evaluate patients with persistent cough, breathlessness, and other respiratory symptoms.
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests and relevant diagnostic investigations.
  • Perform bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures where appropriate.
  • Manage complex respiratory and critical care cases.
  • Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
  • Provide appropriate management for patients requiring long-term oxygen therapy and respiratory support.
  • Collaborate with intensivists, radiologists, cardiologists, and other specialists.
  • Educate patients regarding disease management, medication, lifestyle, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • MD/DNB/DM/MRCP or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical experience in managing respiratory disorders.
  • Experience in bronchoscopy and pulmonary procedures is an advantage.
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and patient-management abilities.
