The posting

We are hiring in Latin America!

🟢 At Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, we're looking for contractors to join our global team of IT professionals helping tech companies scale their business through software engineering expertise. Operating as a remote-first company, our experts work across 55+ countries on five continents, giving us the flexibility and skillset to deliver high-quality engineering for projects of any size or complexity.

We invite a Senior Analytics Engineer to join a technology consulting firm focused on the wholesale distribution industry and the Infor CloudSuite Distribution ecosystem. In this role, you’ll lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of business intelligence solutions, taking ownership of the analytics stack, from ERP data and data modeling to dashboards and reports for end users. You’ll work across different data sources and platforms, helping clients get accurate, consistent reports and building reusable solutions for future projects.

🟩 What's in it for you:

  • Take on complex, hands-on analytics work and help shape a growing analytics practice
  • Work across modern analytics platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Infor Birst
  • Own end-to-end BI solutions that turn ERP data into trusted reporting for day-to-day business decisions

✅ Is that you?

  • 10+ years in BI, analytics engineering, or data warehousing, including client-facing or multi-business-unit delivery
  • Strong Power BI expertise: data modeling, advanced DAX, Power Query/M, performance tuning, deployment management, and row-level security
  • Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience: lakehouses/warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, pipelines, and semantic models
  • Advanced SQL and query tuning for large transactional tables
  • ETL/ELT design, including incremental loads, slowly changing dimensions, error handling, and scheduling
  • Dimensional modeling: star schemas, fact tables, conformed dimensions, and data grain
  • Experience extracting ERP data and reconciling reports against the system of record
  • Ability to turn ambiguous business needs into technical designs and explain them to non-technical stakeholders
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English level for confident client communication
  • Strong documentation skills and experience supporting production analytics solutions
  • Willingness to learn and work with additional analytics platforms
  • Experience using AI tools in development and interest in conversational analytics

Desirable:

  • Strong Azure data platform experience alongside Microsoft Fabric
  • Hands-on Infor Birst skills: spaces, logical modeling, connectors, dashboards, and security
  • Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite Distribution, SX.e, or Infor ION/Data Lake and their underlying data structures
  • Experience with Phocas or similar distribution-focused BI products
  • Wholesale distribution knowledge: order-to-cash, purchasing, inventory, pricing, margins, and fill rates
  • Experience with ERP-embedded analytics tools and the trade-offs of extending versus replacing them
  • Python or Spark for data transformation; Git and CI/CD for analytics assets
  • Microsoft certifications (PL-300, DP-600, DP-700) or equivalent
  • Experience in consulting, MSP, VAR, or ERP partner environments, supporting multiple client tenants
  • Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of analytics solutions for clients.

  • Design and build data platforms in Microsoft Fabric; lead Power BI implementations end to end
  • Establish analytics governance standards for clients
  • Lead Infor Birst implementations, extensions, and ongoing support; build and maintain spaces, logical models, hierarchies, measures, and security filters against Infor CSD data
  • Extend and troubleshoot CSD dashboards and reports; resolve data refresh, connector, and performance issues
  • Profile data from Infor CSD and related systems, and design reliable, low-impact extraction and ingestion processes
  • Preserve raw data for reprocessing; handle change capture and deletes to prevent data loss
  • Ingest non-ERP data and map it to conformed dimensions for analysis alongside ERP data, resolving data inconsistencies during ingestion
  • Monitor solutions with failure alerts, row-count and freshness checks, and schema-drift detection; document recovery steps
  • Build and maintain pipelines that transform ERP data into dimensional models for analysis
  • Write and tune SQL; implement incremental loads and data quality checks
  • Support clients using platforms such as Phocas with data feeds, mapping, model design, and ERP integration; advise on platform suitability and maintenance costs
  • Use AI tools to improve development, data profiling, documentation, and testing; deliver conversational analytics, prepare semantic models for natural-language queries, and evaluate emerging AI analytics capabilities
  • Translate distribution business needs into data requirements and working solutions; create technical documentation, runbooks, and handover materials
  • Train and support client power users in extending analytics content
  • Build reusable templates, models, and accelerators to facilitate future implementations

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
