This role is open only to candidates currently based in Thailand or Indonesia, with a hybrid arrangement in Bangkok and a remote arrangement in Indonesia.
Cube is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer to help us build, automate, and manage the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines behind our products.
You will design and maintain secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient infrastructure while enabling our engineering teams to deliver software and data pipelines reliably. You will work closely with the Software Engineering and Data Engineering teams to build and improve our infrastructure and operational practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure and architectures.
- Provision, manage, and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and automated software delivery.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain containerized workloads and orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes and cloud container services.
- Manage and maintain cloud networking, databases, monitoring, logging, alerting, backups, and disaster recovery infrastructure.
- Perform day-to-day infrastructure operations, troubleshoot technical issues, respond to incidents, and contribute to post-incident reviews.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and continuously improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the Software Engineering and Data Engineering teams to design and deliver reliable, practical infrastructure solutions.
- Maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and operational processes.
- Support the migration and modernization of legacy systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role.
- Strong experience administering Linux servers and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Hands-on experience designing and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience managing Docker containers and Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working with Git-based development workflows.
- Good understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, VPNs, DNS, and load balancers.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability systems.
- Working knowledge of commonly used databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Ability to write basic Bash, Python, or similar scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Proven experience troubleshooting infrastructure and production issues and working effectively across engineering teams.
- Experience migrating, modernizing, or transitioning legacy systems and infrastructure.
- Good to have experience with data analytics and big-data services.
- Infrastructure or cloud certifications are a plus.
