  • Strengthen Azure governance through management groups, subscription structures, Azure Policy, tagging standards, operational guardrails, cost controls, and compliance-aligned configurations.
  • Implement and maintain Azure services, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, backup and recovery services, Key Vault, monitoring, and platform security services.
  • Automate environment provisioning, configuration management, operational processes, and platform maintenance.
  • Partner with application, data, and infrastructure teams to enable reliable cloud-hosted solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, identity, access, networking, and automation issues through resolution.
  • Support production stability and service continuity across critical enterprise and operational technology environments.
  • Document platform designs, standards, configurations, procedures, and operational handoff materials to support maintenance and audit readiness.
  • Contribute to architecture reviews, continuous improvement, and the platform engineering roadmap.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote consistent engineering standards, clear documentation, and automation practices.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering.

  • Proven Terraform experience, including module design, state management, and infrastructure deployment workflows.
  • Strong Microsoft Entra ID administration and engineering experience, including RBAC, conditional access, enterprise applications, identity governance, and hybrid identity concepts.
  • Experience building secure, scalable cloud environments through standardized and automated deployments.
  • Solid understanding of Azure governance, subscription design, management groups, Azure Policy, tagging, and cost management.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to take ownership of complex issues through resolution.
  • Clear technical documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • English proficiency sufficient to participate confidently in technical discussions and produce clear documentation.
  • Current residence in Houston and availability to work at the Houston office five days per week.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for deploying or validating Terraform infrastructure.
  • Experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for cloud automation and operational scripting.
  • Experience with Azure landing zones, shared services architecture, and governance across multiple subscriptions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
