We are seeking an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Senior Training and Skills Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of training across the organisation, including skills development, competency assessments, certification management and quality assurance activities. They will play a key role in ensuring employees have the knowledge, skills and qualifications required to meet business and operational objectives.
The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain a comprehensive training database for all employees. Working closely with the Heads of Operations, Maintenance, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), Finance and Services, they will implement training and development processes, manage learning content and support workforce capability initiatives. The role will also involve liaising with training coordinators across the organisation to ensure a consistent and effective approach to training, competency management and compliance .
Key Responsabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Learning Focal Points across the organisation to ensure alignment and effective coordination of training activities.
- Coordinate and support all coaching and mentoring programmes, ensuring employees have access to development opportunities.
- Meet regularly with Learning Focal Points to identify training needs, plan learning initiatives and coordinate delivery schedules across the organisation.
- Create, manage and coordinate Business Operations and Services onboarding programmes, working closely with trainers and key stakeholders to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Lead the development and coordination of the organisation's annual and long-term training plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities and workforce capability requirements.
- Ensure learning content is aligned with the agreed delivery strategy and supports organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with the Head of Learning & Development to implement a strategic approach to content management and continuous improvement of learning resources.
- Partner with Learning Focal Points to identify and manage readiness and competency requirements across functions.
- Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, HSSE, Finance and Services leadership teams to establish and maintain learning and development processes for leadership and management development content.
- Coordinate with Learning Focal Points to design, implement and administer assessment strategies for readiness, competency and development programmes.
- Monitor training effectiveness, track learning outcomes and provide relevant reporting to support workforce development and compliance objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not essential, combined with a minimum of 8 years' experience in Learning and Development, Training, Workforce Development or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and credibility with key stakeholders across HR and the wider business, including HR Operations, functional leaders and senior management.
- Proven ability to influence, engage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve learning and development objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage, coach and support both managers and employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach and the ability to foster open, honest and constructive dialogue within teams and across departments.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate training programmes and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
