About the Opportunity

Blueprint Search Group is partnering with a well-established commercial signage company to hire an experienced Signage Installer for a full-time opportunity based in Wilson, NC.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. The ideal candidate has experience with installation or construction, enjoys traveling to job sites, and is committed to delivering high-quality work safely and professionally.

Position Summary

As a Signage Installer, you will be responsible for installing a wide variety of commercial signs throughout North and South Carolina. In this role, you'll own the full installation process - from loading materials and equipment before traveling to customer locations to completing the final walkthrough on site. You'll work independently and as part of a team to ensure every installation meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install interior and exterior commercial signage, including:
  • ADA signage
  • Dimensional letters
  • Monument signs
  • Post and panel signs
  • LED displays
  • Vinyl graphics
  • Safely operate power tools, ladders, aerial lifts, and scissor lifts.
  • Report to the Wilson, NC facility daily to load materials and equipment before traveling to job sites.
  • Travel throughout North and South Carolina to complete installations.
  • Follow OSHA safety regulations and established installation procedures.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and completion status with management.
  • Perform final quality inspections before leaving each job site.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment on customer sites.

Compensation & Schedule

  • $18.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Full-time position.
  • Monday–Thursday schedule, with occasional Fridays based on project needs.
  • Daily reporting to the Wilson, NC facility before traveling to customer locations.
  • Opportunities for training and certification support.

Requirements

Qualifications Required

  • Experience in installation, construction, carpentry, or another skilled trade.
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms.
  • Experience operating power tools and aerial or scissor lifts.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, or willingness to obtain (employer assistance provided).
  • CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain (employer assistance provided).
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to the Wilson, NC facility.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as driving company vehicles is required.

Preferred

  • Previous experience installing commercial signage.
